Government Co-Ed Polytechnic, Bastar was established in year 2014. It imparts Diploma courses in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering with an intake of 60 seats. All courses are affiliated to CSVTU Bhilai and approved by AICTE New Delhi. The institute is well equipped with qualified faculty members, class rooms, laboratories, library, training and placement cell and internet facility. Evaluation of the students is done on the basis of end semester examination.
The aim of the institute is to provide technical education to the students and develop their all round personality which is the need of today’s world. The institute grooms students with update knowledge and technical education so that they cope with requirements and challenges of industries. The students are also encouraged for active participation in various co-curricular activities and sports.
